The night is dark and full of terrors. Now, thanks to two engineers at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the Shanghai Jiao Tong University, it’s about to get even darker: they have invented a material that absorbs all but 0.005% of visible light. That makes it the blackest material ever created.
