Sam Van Aken Rockwell Museum in Corning unveils first living display, 'Tree of 40 Fruit'
Star Gazette May 23, 2019
For the last seven months, a small, inconspicuous tree has been growing unnoticed in a park across from The Rockwell Museum in Corning.
On Thursday, museum officials revealed the tree's big secret.
While it just looks like another sapling right now, in the future, the "Tree of 40 Fruit No. 87" will bloom in a kaleidoscope of vivid colors and, as its name implies, will be able to bear 40 different types of fruit.
