Hannah Wilke In Pictures | Eva Hesse and Hannah Wilke compared in new catalogue
The Art Newspaper Jun 18, 2020
Eva Hesse and Hannah Wilke, two of the most important artists of the late 20th century, have been brought together for the first time in a comparative study of their respective careers. This takes the form of an exhibition at New York’s Acquavella Galleries, which will feature 23 works made between 1965 and 1977 (on hold due to the coronavirus pandemic) and an accompanying catalog. Both are titled Erotic Abstraction.
