Mierle Laderman Ukeles's piece I Make Maintenance Art One Hour Everyday (1976) is included in the Whitney's exhibition An Incomplete History of Protest: Selections from the Whitney's Collection, 1940-2017
To preserve the integrity of the piece, Ukeles' work will be up until Monday, November 27th, and will not be exhibited for another ten years.
